Leigh Wright, President, called the meeting to order at 5:03 PM. Mark Cellar, Director, Leigh

Wright, President, Sarah Ottonello, Vice President, Valeri Boswell, Treasurer and Gloria Kim,

Secretary were present.

Previous meeting notes were approved by Leigh and seconded by Mark

The following correction was made to last month’s meeting notes: $6,000 was the cost for

charter buses, not yellow buses.

The agenda was presented and accepted.

1. Treasurer’s Report - Valeri Boswell

a. Account balance:

8/31: $15,654.33

Today:$15, 789.63

Peaches check went through

If last year’s peaches check goes out, updated balance will be $9,870.63

*We will hold off until making decisions on the money until the end of the calendar year. Then

we’ll decide if we will void the check and not offer payment if the vendor reaches out.

Peaches check for the students: $2,052.00

Filed 990 on 8/15

State, federal and charity filings are all complete

b. MB meal payments:

12 kids have not yet paid. Leigh will send individual emails out to those families.

There is one kids who will pay by next week

i. Email individuals who haven't paid yet (Leigh)

c. Other:

Something to consider for next year is offering a paid service to deliver peaches locally. We

already have many customers who ask people to grab their order and customers that do not

show up to get their peaches during the pickup window.

The peaches were good, but a lot of customers missed the honey and jam.

Senior pictures are now all paid for.

Received and deposited WCF check

Mark received Bellco statement, gave to Val

Mark noted that there are some Amazon items that will be returned, since we do not need them

anymore.

2. Upcoming and current fundraisers: Gloria and Sarah

a. September 4th: Red Robin

Gloria gave Mark stickers for Red Robin to share with the kids and have them wear and pass

out. Note for the future, give stickers two days in advance due to block period schedule, he only

sees half the classes.

b. October 4th: Shopping Extravaganza

i. Need volunteers to work shifts - still need 2 volunteers

ii. Ticket sales

iii. Post on Instagram and Facebook

c. October 22nd: IC Brewhouse

Still waiting on marketing for fundraiser

d. November 22nd: Kendra Scott

Instore Sat and online Sat & Sun. We are still waiting on marketing for the event

e. Fan Angel and Colorado Gives - ongoing

3. Marching Band Logistics: Harrison Clinic

Got three yellow buses for Harrison!

Will use the white canopy for guard to change in

a. Pit Crew: Jen and Sarah

i. Need students to help push equipment at all comps and FB games

ii. Numbers for parent helpers from Jen

iii. Won't have enough parents for the afternoon, but will have enough

for the evening performance

Currently have 12 kids, but Jen things that we need 23

Mark said that the kids won’t be able to help push because they are warming up in a different

location

Kids will have to do the scrims, but no cart to get them to the field

Order to plugin: sound car > board

b. Food and equipment: Leigh, Val and Sarah

i. Lunch - Students on their own

ii. Dinner - Sub sandwiches provided by Boosters

c. Asked Denise and Haley to be medical parent liaisons for band

competitions

4. Band Sponsorship Levels: Gloria

a. Adjustments made to tiers

Increased two bottom tiers, now they are $300 / $800

Added jazz/drumline performances to the top tier

Changed some verbiage and added changes to all tiers to help bring in more sponsors

b. New Sponsor Documents: Leigh working on updating these

c. New traveling sponsor banner

We will make sure that the marching band takes a group photo with the traveling banner to

share with sponsors and hopefully encourage more sponsors

Gloria to submit for all sponsors that got for the 2025-2026 school year to get fence banners

6. Mr. Cellar: Punch cards?

Unfortunately no updates yet from the school. Will reach out again.

7. Holly: T-shirt update

a. Rebel said they’re happy to remake some of the shirts because of quality:

red shirt, black shirt, hoodie, and XL blue shirts (the only size with the color

variation). If a parent would like to exchange for a new shirt because of the

sizing or quality errors in the t-shirts, they can exchange them with the

boosters, and the extra stock we can sell at events and make some extra

money.
