Jen Dobosz, President, called the meeting to order at 5:03 PM. Mark Cellar, Director, Leigh Wright, Vice President, Gloria Kim, Secretary, and Valeri Boswell, Treasurer, were present.
Previous meeting notes were approved by Leigh Wright The agenda was presented and accepted.
1. Treasurer’s Report - Valeri Boswell
Balance end of September: $11,968.78
Balance as of today: $13,553.54
Peaches check still has not gone through
The increased balance is primarily due to finally depositing the town of Castle Rock grant check. Also accounts for punch cards, King Soopers & some payments for $35 marching band food fee
Boosters has approved Valeri to purchase checks for the boostersBoosters also approved $500-600 to cover yard signs if we make it to State.
a. Spirit Night Checks?
We still have not received any of our summer spirit night checks. Jen to check with Kristin to see where they are at or if she has heard anything from the restaurants.
2. Gear Shop - Gloria and Denise
Gloria confirmed that the final window to order ends on Sunday evening. It will be approximately 3 weeks before delivery and we agreed to do a bulk pick up and distribute ourselves
Next year we may want to go back to Elite due to the difficulty in communication with Rocky Mountain Swag.
3. Marching Band Food - Leigha. List of those who have paid, we will make direct contact with those who
have not
Valeri will pull the list and provide it to Leigh. Jen to send out an email to parents of students who have not yet paid. It is currently half the list.

DCMI - pulled pork, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers lunch. No dinner due to HoCo

d. Regionals/Friendship/State needs
Regionals (10/17) will do the ‘Spaghetti dinner’ for lunch at school @12 before the kids pack up and go. Dinner will be at 5:45 PM and Leigh will figure out something simple to take since there isn’t the ability to easily do a big setup
Friendship (10/19) still haven’t gotten the finalized schedule, but plan for dinner and will tell the kids to feed themselves before they head out.
State (10/25-10/26) lunch, but not dinner will be provided. Leigh is planning on burgers. She would like some additional grills.
4. Marching Band Volunteer Needs
Concessions at Powderpuff - thank you!
Concessions for football (10/18)
Denise will be running concessions, seems like a good number of volunteers
c. Uniform Laundry
Still need volunteers for a few sections. Jen to reach out and ask parent for those specific sections before posting on Band app.
5. Other Businessa. Booster meetings added to the band calendar - Nov 6, Dec 4 (Continental
League)?
Mr. Cellar is ok if keep the December meeting as is, as long as there is hard stop at 6 so he can make it over to Continental League rehearsal
b. Senior night football game?
Mr. Cellar is thinking 11/1 which is also the last football game.
Also, we need a student to book the commons for the winter banquet once the marching season is over.
c. TV Oct 11? - kid banner holders?

Mr. Cellar doesn’t know if there is an opportunity for banner holders, since it has not been mentioned. If so, it would be nice, but probably won’t be needed.
d. Winter percussion
Leigh is helping, but has asked Max to include food costs in fees this year. Feels will be run through the boosters. Also believe that Holly is looking to put together a Winter Guard group and if so, the same rules would apply.
Competition date has been moved, so it no longer falls on the same day as the gala
