Leigh Wright, President, called the meeting to order at 5:09 PM. Mark Cellar, Director, Leigh
Wright, President, Sarah Ottonello, Vice President, Valeri Boswell, Treasurer and Gloria Kim,
Secretary, and Max, Percussion Coach were present.
Previous meeting notes were approved by Leigh and seconded by Sarah
Corrections to last month’s meeting notes: None
The agenda was presented and accepted.
1. Treasurer’s Report - Valeri Boswell
a. Account balance:
10/31: $21,963.29
Today: $13, 771.76
Peaches & other outstanding checks: $7,852.76
Check for Advantage Tours $5,954
$2,590 for Airbrush Images (WG tarp)
b. Orlando trip payments:
$1,240 - credit for 10 students towards Orlando. Primarily from peaches sales. Val will write a
check and give it to Mark to take to the school office to apply to their myschoolbucks.
2. New and old Uniforms:
Box up old uniforms and then figure out the go forward plan
WP could probably use some for their costumes
Since the jackets are specific to CV, it will probably be difficult to sell. However, we should go
through all uniform parts and see which are still in good enough condition to see about selling.
Mon/Wed may be the best time for Leigh and Sarah to come in and start going through old
uniforms. During the day, preferably around 9:15 AM
Any students who don’t have class are welcome to come help box up uniforms
1
Will want to box up the new uniforms we need for Orland in mid-Jan
Should use old shako boxes for Orlando, so that we can avoid some additional wear and tear on
the new boxes for a bit.
The boxes for the new uniforms are wardrobe boxes, so it would be convenient to hang
uniforms to keep or transport for Orlando, rather than break them down.
If we want to allow students/families to purchase old uniforms as a mini fundraiser, Mark would
prefer that they be packaged (shadow box, etc.). Does not want people to be wearing old
uniforms out and about, to maintain the respect for the uniform.

logo) for greater reach
d. Lynch Creek Farm - 10% of all product sales (good for non-local sales)

Auditions are primarily for placement/instrument, not really the intent to reject students based on
skill. However, Max does not want to take more than 25 students
Note: We cannot sell percussion items because the boosters did not purchase them, the school
did. In order for us to legally sell older equipment, the boosters would have needed to
purchased the items.
17. Additional items:
Submitted Bid to Templeton - officially approved for new marching band speakers
Current speakers are 18 years old, so the timing of the new speakers will be good. The old
speakers can most likely still be used in indoor events, such as WP or guard, but the new ones
will be powerful enough for the field during marching competitions.

ends no later than 5:45 PM.
