There was a different experience this year from previous years. The student and parent

Plumes on new marching uniforms were left off the bid, but Mark has discussed with Templeton
and she has approved an additional $3,000 to cover them.
Mark got confirmation for commission for the 20th anniversary. It will be written specifically for
this event
3
CV band will play, but Mark thought it would be good to also invite the alumni back
But we would need to get the word out quickly.
It will cost $2000-3000 to write the music
Wed (5/20) - Graduation is at 9 AM (maybe bring donuts)
If the school won’t cover a charter bus, maybe the boosters will be able to transport all the kids
Tuesday (5/19) 0 the night before there is a rehearsal, want to invite the alumni and then do an
event after the rehearsal
Should look into a potluck, banquet hall/event space, etc. to determine what type of event we
will want to do and whether or not we need to charge
Boosters agreed upon a cost of $25/person (so that we have the funds to cover food costs).
Mark looked at canopies. Most cost around a few thousand dollars ($2000 for a 10x10), but also
found some that were around $1000
Per discussion, given that we broke two canopies due to the wind this eason, we want some
that are heavier duty. Also would prefer 2 smaller canopies than a single larger one, so there is
more flexibility in what we put up.
15. Next Booster Meeting: January 7rd at 5PM
Leigh Wright, President, called the meeting to end at 5:53 PM
